EA confirms return of SimCity

As rumoured, EA does have a new SimCity game up their sleeves, which they officially announced at the Game Developer’s Conference 2012 earlier this morning.

Details for the new game, simply titled, “SimCity”, are still sketchy, with new information surrounding a 2013 release for Windows PC and powered by EA’s GlassBox engine. More details will be laid out when EA hosts their GDC presentation, “Inside the Glassbox”, tomorrow.

In the meantime, some nice person has posted the GDC trailer on YouTube in all its non-fidgety glory.
