Ubisoft announces GRFS Multiplayer Beta and Ghost Recon Network

Ubisoft will be opening the multiplayer beta for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier from April 19th to May 2nd on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The multiplayer beta will feature plenty of online action through 12-player simultaneous gameplay with three classes to choose from. Two game modes will be highlighted during the beta: Conflict, objective-based team points accumulation and Saboteur (from April 26th), capture-the-bomb and detonate said bomb in the rival base gameplay. Both modes will have sessions of 10 minutes each and span on two different maps.

The beta can be accessed through pre-orders of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier for the Xbox 360, PlayStation Plus member access for the PlayStation 3 and owners of a copy of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction.

Also announced was the upcoming Ghost Recon Network that allows players to customise and share their in-game weapons, track player history, in-game status and earn exclusive rewards through access on their iOS or Android-based phones or online through a web browser. Multiplayer Beta participants will also get the chance to try out specific features of GRN while the beta is in motion.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be released on May 22nd for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and for Windows PC on June 12.
