Super Mario Bros. graduates from Ambassador Program

Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console updated for 3DS Ambassadors, now available for everyone.

Besides the Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D demo, This week’s software refresh on the Nintendo eShop also offers the first public downloadable NES Virtual Console title, Super Mario Bros.

3DS owners on the Ambassador Program will receive an update notification upon re-entering the Nintendo eShop today. The update brings the Virtual Console title up to speed with all the other VC titles, adding the much-welcomed Restore Point save feature to the software as well as a more comprehensive in-game manual.

Super Mario Bros. is now available on the American Nintendo eShop for US$4.99, while eligible Ambassadors can simply redownload or update their software.
