Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Closes with Grand Finals this Weekend in San Francisco

The Street Fighter 25^th Anniversary celebration culminates at San Francisco this coming weekend. Its accompanying high-stakes global tournament will see the best players from the USA, Asia, Brazil, France, and the UK competing for US$125,000 in cash prizes.

And if you thought Street Fighter x Tekken was dead, you’ll be surprised to know that the winner of the SFxT tournament will be handed the keys to a all-new custom-designed Street Fighter 25^th Anniversary branded Scion FR-S Spors Coupe.

Unfortunately Singapore has just one representative attending, and not for SFxT. Akira ‘boc’ Hattori will be playing Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike on our behalf, so he won’t be anywhere near that car.

There will also be a ton of SF-related activities and announcements taking place on the show floor. Yoshinori Ono and Tomoaki Ayano will also be present for signings and photographs.

The Street Fighter 25^th Anniversary Grand Finals will be held at the Hyatt Regency SFO in Burlingame, California, on Dec 8 2012. Admission is free, and the first 1,000 guests to arrive will get goodie bags filled with exclusive collectible SF swag!
