Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Closes with Grand Finals this Weekend in San Francisco

The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary celebration culminates at San Francisco this coming weekend. Its accompanying high-stakes global tournament will see the best players from the USA, Asia, Brazil, France, and the UK competing for US$125,000 in cash prizes.

And if you thought Street Fighter x Tekken was dead, you’ll be surprised to know that the winner of the SFxT tournament will be handed the keys to a all-new custom-designed Street Fighter 25th Anniversary branded Scion FR-S Spors Coupe.

Unfortunately Singapore has just one representative attending, and not for SFxT. Akira ‘boc’ Hattori will be playing Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike on our behalf, so he won’t be anywhere near that car.

There will also be a ton of SF-related activities and announcements taking place on the show floor. Yoshinori Ono and Tomoaki Ayano will also be present for signings and photographs.

The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Grand Finals will be held at the Hyatt Regency SFO in Burlingame, California, on Dec 8 2012. Admission is free, and the first 1,000 guests to arrive will get goodie bags filled with exclusive collectible SF swag!
