Sony For Family Fun This Holiday Season
It warms our hearts to find out that Sony is looking to please families this Christmas.
The company intends “to go big on family-friendly titles,” said Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida in an interview with Game Informer. This was after Game Informer asked him about the company’s lack of a heavyweight game for the year’s end.
“…Each title needs time to develop, especially new IP like The Last of Us,” Yoshida said. “Our strategy for Christmas is to go big on family-friendly titles. This is a neglected genre for the Playstation 3…”
Yoshida added that Sony’s overall lineup would be boosted by third-party releases, and that he thought Sony would have “a great lineup” for the holiday season to complement core games from third parties.
