Resident Evil 6 arriving earlier, $1600 Premium Edition announced

A new trailer for the upcoming action-horror game Resident Evil/Biohazard 6 has revealed an earlier release date for the game and the identity of one new character.

New character Jake Muller is revealed to be the son of Albert Wesker in this new trailer, as well as packing a whole lot of action. It also drops the release date for the initial November 22nd date to an October 4th (for Japan. North America will get Resident Evil 6 on October 2nd).

Japan also has a premium edition for the upcoming Resident Evil 6 that will cost fans, and I mean diehard-serious hardcore fans, ¥105,000 (S$1630). Someone at Capcom must’ve got a bad case of the Uroboros virus to have come up with this, but the premium edition will come with four exclusive iPhone covers featuring Chris Redfield (dibs!), Leon Kennedy, Jake Muller and one with a secret character, a copy of the game for Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 and, of course, a replica of Leon’s leather jacket in S to XL sizes. There are also lesser premium editions that will include the game and one iPhone cover, but who would want that?

If you have the gall (and the money) for the lovely jacket, of which only 5000 pieces will be made, hit up the e-Capcom Shop Page.
