The PS4 Pro God of War Limited Edition console looks fantastic!

It was bound to happen. Will Sony not produce a limited edition PlayStation 4 console for arguably its biggest first-party title of the year, God of War? Of course not!

It is also quite possibly the best looking PlayStation 4 Pro console too, topping even, if I may dare say, the beautiful Monster Hunter: World PS4 Pro. The design of the console was inspired by the Leviathan Axe, a weapon wielded by Kratos. Interestingly, I thought some of the symbols/runes reminded me a bit of the art from another Sony exclusive, Patapon.

The PS4 Pro God of War Limited Edition console with 1TB HDD will be available in April 2018 with a suggested retail price of S$669. It will also come with an equally awesome-looking DualShock 4 controller, a Blu-ray disc version of the game (that includes premium digital contents such as “XP Boost”, Buckler of the ForgeShining Elven Soul-ShieldDokkenshieldr).

Owners of the package will also get voucher codes that unlocks the following:

  • Death Vow Amor Set
  • Exile’s Guardian Shield
  • Digital Comic
  • Digital Art Book
  • A God of War Dynamic Theme
  • 3-months PlayStation Plus subscription

If you are keen to get one, I’d best recommend you make a reservation at your favorite game shop. Like the Monster Hunter: World PS4 Pro, this limited edition console will sell fast.
