Prep for Wolfenstein: Youngblood with NVIDIA’s latest driver update!

Aah…another day, another NVIDIA Game Ready Driver update.

However, today’s patch may be worth checking out, especially if you’re a fan of the Wolfenstein series.

Yup. In addition to support for the new GeForce RTX2080 SUPER GPUs, the update also includes preparatory optimisation for the upcoming Wolfenstein: Youngblood. According to its Steam page, the latter will arrive on PC this coming Friday (July 26), and on other platforms a day after.

Meanwhile, the former releases worldwide today, jam-packed with the latest performance-tuned hardware. If that’s not enough value already, there are also select bundles tossing in Control and the aforementioned Wolfenstein:Youngblood as well.

Naturally, this heavy-duty GPU also rocks ray-tracing capabilities – great for future blockbusters like Cyberpunk 2077. As such, it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Last but not least, NVIDIA is also proud to announce that three more displays have passed the G-SYNC compatibility testing – the AOC AG272FCX6, AOC AG272FG3R and the HP 24X. For those who are unfamiliar, the G-SYNC Compatible certification is somewhat like a experiential recommendation of sorts. In other words, it provides gamers with a better idea as to which monitors provide good entry level gaming experiences.

For additional reference, here’s a comprehensive list of G-SYNC certified monitors.
