Pokémon 3DSWare To Fulfill Your Catch-'em-All Needs This Fall

Nintendo of America has announced the release timeframe for Pokémon Dream Radar and Pokédex 3D Pro, two pieces of downloadable software to be available on the Nintendo eShop this fall. The two eShop titles will help add to the Pokémon experience when playing on the Nintendo 3DS.

Pokémon Dream Radar utilises the camera and gyroscope of the Nintendo 3DS to allow trainers to catch Pokémon just by shooting at them through augmented reality. Caught Pokémon, especially the hard-to-find ones that can be found in the software, can be transferred to Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, making Pokédex entry filling that much easier.

And speaking of Pokédex, the Pokédex 3D application will be receiving an upgrade in the form of Pokédex 3D Pro, featuring all 649 Pokémon with their records unlocked from the get-go with details such as the moves its capable of learning and evolution stages. The application still retains the ability to take AR photos with your favourite Pokémon.

Both pieces of software are exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS, adding that bit of a push to own one if you would like to go all Pokémon Champion on yourself when Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 releases in Q3 2012.
