Nintendo Releases Patch For Pokémon X&Y Lumiose City Save Glitch

Nintendo releases patch on the Nintendo eShop to fix the notorious Lumiose City save glitch for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.
The bug, addressed by Nintendo just this week, may cause the player to experience unresponsive controls when saving in certain parts of Lumiose City, the largest, most central city in the game. The patch attempts to rectify that issue and allow trainers to save wherever they well please.
If you don’t have access to the Nintendo eShop, take note to not save within the highlighted area on the map shown here. Saving within the confines of a Pokémon Center appears fine to do so.
The free update will also fix the results filtering when searching for Pokémon on the Global Trade Station. The updates work with retail game card and eShop download versions of the game, remaining separate for both games and can’t be used with each other.
