Music Anywhere: Spotify Now In Asia

Music streaming service Spotify launches in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.

The “Freemium”-style music streaming service is now available in three Asian nations, offering only their free, ad-supported version and a premium paid version going for S$9.90 a month. Restrictions will apply on the free version after six months. Users can try out Spotify Premium for a month, free.

To those unfamiliar to Spotify, the music streaming service allows users to listen to their favourite songs, or discover new music wherever they are on the most common devices of today. Naturally, the premium fee pays for that privilege, ad free. It also allows for the sharing of playlists through social media.
