Monster Hunter: World will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One globally on January 26, 2018

Capcom today confirmed that Monster Hunter: World will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One globally on January 26, 2018. A PC release will follow at a later date. The publisher also revealed newly announced Digital Deluxe and physical Collector’s editions.

Pre-orders of the Digital Deluxe version on PlayStation Network starts on 20 Sept (tomorrow) and will net you the following items:

  • A Monster Hunter: World PS4 game
  • 14 Special Avatar “Weapon Icon”
  • Additional downloadable content “Deluxe Kit” that comes with these in-game items:
    • Layered Armor: Samurai Set
    • 3 Additional Gestures: Zen, Ninja Star and Sumo Slap
    • 2 Additional Sticker Sets: Monster Hunter All-Stars Set and Sir Loin Set
    • 1 Additional Face Paint: Wyvern
    • 1 Additional Hairstyle: Topknot

Here’s the content of the Collector’s Edition, which includes a figurine of the “Nergigante” monster, “Monster Designs” artbook with draft artwork design and setting info of new monsters featured in Monster Hunter: World, an OST with 10 in-game songs and a download code for the “Deluxe Kit” as seen above.
