Mobile Legends’ 515 Unite Campaign commences on 27th April

It’s no secret that Mobile Legends is a super-popular game. You see people playing it everywhere: at home, at school, on public transport and everywhere in between. But over 500 million installs? That’s a pretty spectacular number, especially for a mobile game.

That said, developer Moonton is aiming to push that figure even higher. But how do they plan to do that?

Well, there’s the Mobile Legends 515 Unite campaign for starters. From 27 Apr (that’s tomorrow!), Moonton will be rolling out goodies and events that not only aim to promote the game itself, but also bring together gamers from across the globe. Check out some of the season-exclusive stuff that’ll be implemented:

  • Custom, campaign-limited in-game modes
  • Mobile Legends trailer showcase across all Golden Village cinemas
  • Release of a theme song, followed immediately by a dance contest
  • Treasure Hunts
  • Cosplay Competitions
  • SGD 15,000 worth of prizes, including limited edition Miya figurines, Ez-link cards and more!

If you’re not a Mobile Legends player (yet), fret not. There will also be offline stuff too. These include real world “quests”, selfie opportunities with cosplayers, mini-games and other fun activities, which will be open to the general public at selected locations. Under the “United We Win” tagline, these live events will take place over the next few weeks. Here’s a list of them.

  • 27th April: AMK Hub
  • 4th May: Bugis Junction
  • 11th May: Scape
  • 19th May: City Square Mall

It’s a large-scale campaign, but one that’s well worth the effort of organising, given Esports’ exponential growth within the past year. However, the growth of the industry is a story for another time, because that Miya figurine is too good to pass up!
