Mari0 brings plumber to portal gun

Mario isn’t exactly a puzzle game, but someone thought so. Two-man studio Stabyourself has developed Mari0, a faithful recreation of the original Super Mario with a portal gun.

Levels play out as you would expect. You go into the blue portal, you come out of the orange. Jump off the steps to get the end flag every time. Avoid Goombas by dumping them onto the area behind. Skip the battle with Bowser altogether by portaling yourself to the back room.

The indie game also includes multiplayer for up to 4 players and a level editor to build your own level packs. Mari0 is a free downloadable for Windows, Mac and Linux, so there’s really nothing stopping you from giving this game a go.
