Logitech’s new G PRO Wireless Gaming Mouse could be its best gaming mouse yet

The G PRO Wireless is the first gaming mouse by Logitech to be designed with and for professional gamers in mind. According to Logitech, the gaming-rated mouse took two years to develop with the help of over 50 professional eSports athletes worldwide.

One of the main issues with gaming mice has always been that the tethered wires do get in the way of gaming. This is not so much a problem for casual gaming but does cause grievances for professional players. Wireless mice on the other hand, has suffered (even if not entirely proven) a perception of latency unreliability in the professional arena.

The G PRO Wireless Gaming Mouse solves this by incorporating Logitech’s LIGHTSPEED wireless technology. LIGHTSPEED is a wireless solution developed by Logitech with help from pro gamers to address the issues of latency and connectivity.

On top of that, the G PRO Wireless only weights a measly 80g. It’s really light. If that is not enough, the G PRO Wireless Gaming Mouse also comes with Logitech latest High-Efficiency Rated Optical (HERO) 16k DPI sensor.

When you put that all together, you get a wireless gaming mouse that is light, sensitive and accurate without the wires getting in the way or having to worry about connectivity issues. That is quite the winning formula for any professional gamers out there.

Not willing to be outdone by its wireless cousin, the wired G PRO Gaming Mouse will also be getting an upgrade. This upgraded version will include the HERO 16k sensor on the G PRO Gaming Mouse. Not only that, but the G PRO is also getting a low-friction and flexible wire to go with it.

Availability

The Logitech G PRO Wireless Gaming Mouse and the upgraded Logitech G PRO Gaming Mouse will be available at Lazada, end-September 2018. The Logitech G PRO Wireless will be available at $249 while the improved Logitech G PRO Gaming Mouse is expected to be available at $109.
