Steam lists their top sellers for 2017

Like it or not, PC gaming and Valve’s Steam go hand in hand. The past 48 hours saw more than 17 million concurrent users on the platform, who are just a tab away from the 20,204 games (region dependent) available in the store. While other publishers have spun up their own digital distribution services, their reluctance to disclose live user statistics leads one to believe that Steam is, by far, in the lead. So when the latter decides to share their top 100 selling games for 2017, it certainly had us curious.

Since it’s a promotional angle for their Winter Sale rather than a report, we’re not getting any interesting tidbits such as revenue figures, units sold, or even user geography. Steam simply grouped the titles according to their gross revenue, which more or less points to a game’s popularity and lasting appeal — there are games on there which have been out for years, boosted into the charts thanks to all the discounts.

The groups are Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze, with titles unsorted. Make your predictions!
