Hearthstone Now on Mobile, Get a Free Classic Pack

Blizzard has launched the mobile version of Hearthstone today! The popular card game has been given a brand new interface to better suit small screens, and features all of the content they’ve released thus far: Curse of Naxxramas, Goblins vs Gnomes, and the new Blackrock Mountain. All collections and progress will seamlessly carry over across devices, making it easier for players to dedicate their lives to endless mana crystals and tavern music.

To celebrate the launch Blizzard are running a promotion. Any player “who completes one game in any mode on their mobile phone will receive one free Classic card pack.” Doesn’t matter if you win or lose and it could even be through Practice mode. This offer also applies for the tablet versions, so pick your poison.

Of course, whether playing on mobile is an ideal experience is a whole different matter entirely. It’ll largely depend on the phone’s hardware and network connection, and chances are Android users are going to run into bugs somewhere or another. It is an alternative though, and a good way to hook in people who don’t want to download the desktop client for whatever reason.

Here are the system requirements for the various platforms available.
