GOG.com Bundle Tower Brings Six Days of Gaming Deals

If you stop to think about it, long-running videogame sales are no different than in-game tower challenges. The longer it lasts the more challenging it gets on one’s wallet, and at the end of it all we’re walking away with some sense of accomplishment (all that savings!) and a bag of loot (all these games!) while lingering doubt hangs at the edge of consciousness (was it worth it?). So it only makes sense, really, that GOG.com should name their latest sale The Bundle Tower.

The Bundle Tower is six days of bundles with up to four new ones appearing daily The discounts go up to 85% off and they’re starting with what they call the foundations of PC gaming: Hasbro D&D RPG classics and Lucasfilm point-and-click adventures. Their decision to include the Divinity and Broken Sword games is a little odd since they’re far more recent, but savings are savings.

In an age of sales, bundles, and remasters chances are one already owns some of those games, so buying individual titles is an option too seeing how cheap they are.

It’d be nice if they managed to acquire and update more abandoned classics. Maniac Mansion or Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist may be extremely dated in gaming terms, but those two and plenty of others remain lovely games nonetheless.
