Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC ‘Jaws of Hakkon’ Out Tomorrow

Four months after Dragon Age: Inquisition’s release, BioWare is finally ready to push out some DLC for this sprawling RPG. Maker help you if you’re still stuck in the Hinterlands.
The single-player DLC’s existence was first discovered via an achievements leak. There are four listed in total and you can view descriptions and screenshots over at XboxAchievements (thanks Eurogamer). Naturally it contains spoilers so you have been warned!
The Dragon Age Twitter account promptly followed up with an official announcement earlier this morning, providing us with a name and the following image:
Two hours later a second Tweet reveals an even bigger surprise: Jaws of Hakkon actually releases tomorrow on Xbox One & PC.
While there’s nothing mentioned for PlayStation 4, the wording suggests that we have another case of timed exclusivity on our hands.
For some players, the name Hakkon may sound familiar. A check through the Dragon Age wiki reveals a Codex entry from DA: Inquisition that mentions Hakkon Wintersbreath as an Avvar god. The tabletop RPG supplies more information, which says that Hakkon is “master of the two bitter colds of frost and steel.” If you have really good memory, then you may also remember the warpaint named after him in Dragon Age: Origins. What exactly these Jaws are, however, rightfully remains a mystery.
Yesterday also happens to be the release of Patch 6 for Dragon Age: Inquiisiton, which fixes a few issues and generally improves stability.
