Capcom Has Six Mega Man Games for the 3DS eShop in “Mega May”

We’ll probably never see a new Mega Man game grace our consoles in the foreseeable future. While a spiritual successor is already in the works, the universe just wouldn’t be the same without our Blue Bomber. Thankfully Capcom has the sense to make the older games digitally accessible, so all is not lost.
During “Mega May”, Capcom will introduce six Mega Man titles to the North American Virtual Console on Nintendo’s 3DS eShop. These games all hail from the Game Boy and Game Boy Color era, the full list of which you can find below. The first to go on sale on 1 May will be decided by a community vote, with the remaining subsequently released each Thursday until all six are out.
Game Boy Color | Game Boy |
Mega Man Xtreme | Mega Man II |
Mega Man Xtreme 2 | Mega Man III |
Mega Man IV | |
Mega Man V |
As someone who hasn’t played all of the games in the series, this sure looks like an appealing arrangement.
