April’s PlayStation Plus Brings Tower of Guns, Aaru's Awakening

Note: This information comes from PSN US, which may have different offerings compared to PSN Asia. Chances are we won’t see any changes but we’ll keep an eye out for any differences until the new offers go live.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will have plenty of shooting to do this month. The list of free games coming out next week has been released and Tower of Guns, the randomized, roguelike first-person-shooter by Terrible Posture Games, features for both PS4 and PS3.

Here’s the rest of the list:

PlayStation 4

  • Tower of Guns
  • Aaru’s Awakening
  • Never Alone

PlayStation 3

  • Tower of Guns
  • Aaru’s Awakening
  • Dishonored

PlayStation Vita

  • Killzone Mercenary
  • MonsterBag

Aaru’s Awakening is a hand-drawn 2D action platformer that’s all about teleportation, whereas Never Alone is a puzzle adventure focused on a native Alaskan girl. MonsterBag happens to be a puzzle game too, for those wondering. The trailer below has glimpses of gameplay for each and should provide enough to go on.

In other Sony-related news, the Spotify service launched yesterday for PS4 and PS3 owners in Singapore and Malaysia.
