Good Smile Company to release Sonic the Hedgehog Nendoroid in April

Figure maker Good Smile Company has announced a Sonic the Hedgehog Nendoroid figure.

The oddly-scaled figure looks like a blend of old-school Sonic and New Sonic, creating a more stubby, but still very cute, hedgehog that’s fully posable and about 10cm in height. It also comes with the related accessories like a power ring, checkpoint marker and item box.

As a fellow figure enthusiast, I surely didn’t see this one coming. Capable of pleasing Sonic fans and figure enthusiasts alike, Nendoroid Sonic will retail for ¥3500 when it releases in April next year. Pre-orders are open at most good Japanese figure hobby shops online.
