Gone in 10 Minutes: iPhone 4S pre-orders in Hong Kong break sales record
Wave Three of the iPhone 4S’s release begins this Friday and the people of Hong Kong got so excited they reportedly cleaned out the number of initial pre-orders for the device in ten minutes.
This continues the trend of the global anticipation of Apple’s latest smartphone, despite the fact that Siri does not yet communicate in Mandarin Chinese. These pre-orders do not include iPhone 4Ses that will be sold in stores for folks to wait in line for.
The iPhone 4S will also make its debut this friday in 15 more countries, including Armenia, El Salvador, Greece, Montenegro, New Zealand, Poland and South Korea, with the promise of 70 other countries by year’s end.
