Gamescom 2012: Rain

Rain is a PSN title from Sony Japan, and it’s everything you’ve come to expect from the studio.

The adventure game plays from a third person angle, and sees you controlling a boy who has turned invisible after he sees a young girl disappear in the rain. The trailer shows a dark and predictably rainy cityscape, which sets off your invisible protagonist perfectly. You can’t see him, but you can see his outline in the rain, or his footsteps in puddles. It’s a bit disconcerting how he disappears when you duck out of the rain, but it’s also strangely mellow and melancholic.

Rain is a working title. No release date has been set for it.
