Vote for the PlayStation Awards 2017 Users’ Choice category

playstation awards 2017

The PlayStation Awards 2017 is soon upon us. Fans in Japan and Asia can now vote for up to five of their favorite titles and, in exchange, stand to win a PlayStation 4 Pro and a PlayStation VR set.

The voting process has changed slightly this year. Once logged into your SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) account, you’ll get to search and select a total of five titles — only games released between 1 October 2016 and 30 September 2017 qualify.

Each vote must then be accompanied by a comment no longer than a thousand characters. Make it “inspirational, constructive and creative” because that’s how Sony are choosing their Best Comment Prize winner aka the PS4 Pro bundle winner.

Even if you don’t win, all participants will get a custom theme for PS4 and PS Vita.

A word of warning: You only get to submit the form once, so be sure you have all five titles selected before you hit that vote button. The form will go through regardless of there being one, three, or five games on your list, and there’s no going back at that point.

Voting is only eligible to SEN members in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, and Indonesia. A Best Comment Prize winner will be selected from each of these regions.

Get to it! Entries close next Monday, 9 October, at 11:59pm SGT.

Here are the games that earned the Users’ Choice Award last year:

  • Bloodborne The Old Hunters Edition
  • Dark Souls III
  • Fallout 4
  • Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
  • Overwatch
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops III
  • Dragon Quest Builders
  • Persona 5
  • Ryu Ga Gotoku Kiwami (Yakuza Kiwami)
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege

Other available categories at PlayStation Awards 2017 are:

  • Platinum Prize (over 1 million copies shipped);
  • Gold Prize (over 500,000 copies shipped);
  • PlayStation Network Award (top 3 network sales);
  • PlayStation VR Award (3 titles that contributed to PSVR sales); and
  • Indies & Developer Award (3 titles that contributed to PS expansion).

Fans may also tune in to the awards ceremony when it goes live on 30 November at 4pm SGT. We’ll share details on the livestream once it’s available.
