The Xbox One Is On Promotion until 30 June

Microsoft Singapore are running a promotion for their Xbox One packages from now until 30 June 2015. The Xbox One with Kinect will include a second controller for free, while the standalone unit is getting a flat-out discount.

“Gaming is a social experience. With two wireless controllers, gamers can now enjoy the interactive gaming experience of the Xbox One with Kinect with a buddy,” says Hanson Yap, marketing manager of Xbox at Microsoft Singapore, in a press release.

Contents of the two packages are as follows:

This bundle is normally priced at $639, hence $70 savings.

Considering how essential Xbox LIVE Gold is to the whole experience – online multiplayer, free games, special offers, and more – a discount on that twelve-month subscription is a neat bonus.

Now that the transition between console generations has more or less settled down, a number of worthwhile games have begun cropping up.

Over at the shooting gallery we’ve got Battlefield Hardline and Evolve on duty until Halo 5: Guardians (Oct 2015) and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 (TBA) comes around. RPG fans have Dragon Age: Inquisition and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (May 2015) to sink dozens of hours into.
