“Rastakhan’s Rumble” pre-order for Hearthstone has started

ICYMI, the newest expansion for Blizzard’s popular card game Hearthstone has been revealed. The developers unveiled the gladiator-themed “Rastakhan’s Rumble” expansion at BlizzCon 2018 last week, along with the usual cinematics and card reveals.

Pricing

Like the other expansions and adventure sets in the game, there is a pre-order period for Rastakhan’s Rumble. And it starts today. It’s a little different though. Players have a choice between two bundles:

Challenger’s Bundle: For USD19.99, you get the “Ready to Rumble” card back and 17 Rastakhan’s Rumble packs.

Rastakhan’s Rumble Bundle: The standard pre-order package priced at USD49.99. Here you get the aforementioned card back, the King Rastakhan Shaman hero portrait and 50 packs.

Revealed Mechanics/Game Modes

Some people might not have seen the new stuff yet. So, we’ve included a quick rundown section for you. Additionally, we’ve tossed in the cinematic trailer if you haven’t checked it out.

Overkill: This mechanic activates when you deal more damage to a minion than what is needed to kill it. For example, if you attack a 3-health minion with a 4-attack weapon.

Spirits: A pseudo-totem card for each of the nine classes. By default, they all have the “Stealth” keyword for the first turn they’re put into play, and offer various class-related buffs.

Loa: The Loa is a new Legendary card style. Based on what’s been said, they’ll be extremely powerful, but not much else is known at this point.

Rumble Run: The new single-player mode puts you in the shoes of an aspiring troll gladiator, with various options presented to you based on your initial class.

Rastakhan’s Rumble drops on December 4th while the Rumble Run game mode releases slightly over a week later on December 13th.
