PlayStation Portable classic LocoRoco remastered for PlayStation 4

LocoRoco was one of many memorable games when it was launched in 2006 for the PlayStation Portable. Now a ‘Remastered’ version is available on the PlayStation 4.

The remastered version will be revitalized with graphics rendered in 4K, and control schemes that will have been optimized for the DualShock 4 controllers – allowing players to control LocoRoco via “tilting or bumping” the landscape to help them navigate each levels and out of harm’s way.

Platform PlayStation 4
Genre Platform/Action
Release Date Digital version: 9th May
Blu-ray disc version: 22nd May
SRP Digital version: S$19.60
Blu-ray disc version: S$28.90
Bonus PlayStation 4 Dynamic theme (for first batch of Blu-ray disc version only)

LocoRoco, along with Patapon, with its fun and quirky gameplay and unique color and art styles remain as fans’ favorites on the PlayStation Portable. It is a pity then, that the remastered version won’t be coming to the PlayStation Vita as well (Editor’s Note: Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida had reveal to us in an E3 interview that the studio is only focusing on PS4 and PSVR titles).

But perhaps we can still hope for a remastering of Patapon for the PlayStation 4.
