LittleBigPlanet PS Vita Developer Announces New Game – Hunger

The developer of LittleBigPlanet PS Vita – and contributor on LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet2 for PlayStation 3 – has announced a new third-person action adventure game entitled Hunger.

Funded with 500,000 Danish krone (SGD 114,561.73)  by the Nordic Game Program, Tarsier Studios’ CEO said, “This is not only a huge vote of confidence from the Nordic Game Program expert group; the grant enables us to explore an idea we are deeply passionate about. Hunger holds fantastic potential, and our job is to harness that promise into a great experience.”.

Six, a 9-year old girl, has been kidnapped and taken to work in an elite underwater resort called The Maw. A twist of fate offers Six a chance to escape, and as embarks on the journey home, The Maw lets her look at the “corrupt heart of modern happiness”.

There is no available release date for the game as yet, although Tarsier Studios is aiming to make the game a downloadable title for PlayStation 4.
