Lead an organization in GTA Online's free update next week

It pays to have structure, which is why Grand Theft Auto Online is getting a free update next week that lets players form their own criminal organizations, complete with contracts to hire other players as bodyguards.
Executives and Other Criminals introduces the concept of VIPs, a role that allows players to run their own operations. Doing so opens up doors to new co-operative Jobs, challenges, and special abilities in Freemode.
A new line of weapons and vehicles will be available, which players can put to the test in a series of new missions that lets organizations go against each other. These include — in addition to armored vehicle variants — a Turreted Limo and the formidable Super Yacht, equipped with a missile defense system and supporting vehicle upgrades such as the SuperVolito Carbon helicopter and personal watercraft.
Since it takes a competent crew to man all those vehicles and equipment, VIPs can hire other players as Bodyguards. It may not sound luxurious but working for someone nets a steady income, alongside reputation points (RP), GTA$, and stat boosts. Bodyguards that don’t play along, however, can get fired.
And the best way of challenging the hired muscle is in Extraction Adversary Mode, where teams of Bodyguards must conduct a search-and-rescue for an Executive before the Hit Squad comes by. Alternatively, existing Freemode events such as King of the Castle will automatically adapt for organization play.
When the smoke clears, the blood dries, and fresh money rolls in the bank, players can return to either one of the new customizable apartments, the stilt houses in Vinewood Hills, or back onboard the Super Yacht – if you had the money for one you might as well live in it.
GTA Online: Executives and Other Criminals is set to go live next week on December 15 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
In the meantime, players can try out the new Every Bullet Counts Adversary Mode, something Rockstar describes as “an intense Last Man Standing variant with a unique twist.” Try it out this weekend for double the GTA$ and RP; that bonus applies to other Adversary Modes too.
