South East Asia Major Returns For Fourth Year This Month

The fighting game tournament for fighting game fans by fighting game fans is making a return this year from 20th June.

Gaining support from fighting game publisher the likes of Capcom, Namco Bandai and Arc System Works, the tournament will be held from the 20th to the 22nd of June at the Alienware Arena over at Lucky Chinatown off New Bridge Road.

Top players in attendance include Xian and Fuudo, Street FIghter EVO 2013 and 2011 champions from Team Razer; Tokido, Street Fighter EVO 2013 runner-up from Mad Catz and Tekken child prodigy AK, hailing from the Philippines.

The six games to be featured at the event include Ultra Street Fighter IV Tournament as the main event, where the winner will be shipped off to the Capcom Cup World Finals in December. Other gmes include Blazblue: ChronoPhantasma, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, HearthStone 3v3, Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 and King of Fighters XIII.

The event is open for registration over at toughcookietv.com. All registered players will get HearthStone Card Packs and other door gifts, as well as access to the after-party on June 22nd. Entry for spectators is free.
