Canberra Secondary School wins NBA2K12 B-Ball Challenge
Last week, 72 students got to the basketball courts and battled against one another to win their school S$10,000 in sponsorship money from 2K Games. Canberra Secondary came up tops with a total cumulative score of 84.5 points.
Teams of six from 12 schools competed against each other on Three-on-three street basketball, a one-on-one quick match and a two-on-two wordy debate over the topic, “Michael Jordan vs LeBron James – who is the greatest and why?”.
The team from Jurong West Secondary School was first runners-up, scoring 81.5, with second and third runners-up Catholic High School, with a score of 81 and North Spring Primary School, scoring 75.
Well, yes. It’s a competition revolving around 2K’s NBA2K12 on virtual courts. Real sports are dangerous!
