Freelance Writer

(Applicant must be at least 18 years old and residing in Singapore.)

This is a paid, remote position so you’re free to work from home, though we’ll be keeping in touch regularly for updates and review openings. Your responsibilities include daily news updates and the occasional game review, preferably focused on PC, with other opportunities discussed as and when they are available.

You don’t need to have published experience, only a strong interest in games and a good handle on writing. We’ll be sharing more information about pay, processes, and procedures in person, but anyone interested should reach out to editorial@gameaxis.com with your particulars and writing samples.

Don’t think you’re good enough? Send us some samples anyway and we’ll take a look; you won’t know till you try.

Writing samples should be sent as direct links (if published online) or as PDF or Word documents.

• A news article (approximately 300 words)
  • Include your sources and references
• A game review (approximately 1,000 words)
  • Can be for an older title
  • Include images and scores — refer to our past works as a rough guide
