Bioshock Infinite pushed back to 2013
Take-Two has announced a delay for Bioshock Infinite, pushing it back from an October 2012 release to February 26th, 2013.
Irrational Games’ Ken Levine has cited the game will face delays similar to why the original Bioshock did: For polish. So, yes. The game will be delayed so it can be tweaked and improved into “something even more extraordinary”. Ken Levine also goes on to mention Bioshock Infinite’s no-show at the upcoming E3 and Gamescom, since precious time is lost when there’s a need to prepare for such media events.
That is disappointing, but at least the delay isn’t “infinite”. Bioshock Infinite is bound for Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
