Befriend an Arceus on the Pokémon Global Link

It’s the dream of every 4th generation Pokémon Trainer. To have an Arceus to call their own. Now they can, thanks to an Internet poll by the Pokémon Company and the Pokémon Global Link.

Arceus, the mythical Legendary Pokémon capable of changing its type, and therefore, its damage effectiveness, through the use of Plates, is now available on the Pokémon Global Link for players to sync over onto their games on Pokémon White and Black versions. Before this, the legendary Pokémon was only obtainable through official Nintendo events or found in-game in the wild through the impossible acquisition of the Azure Flute, a key item not yet officially released by The Pokémon Company themselves.

I’ll say this was more of an exploit than a fair vote for “favourite Pokémon”, but the fans have spoken and a Lv. 100 Arceus can be yours simply by logging into the Pokémon Global Link and entering “ARCEUSVOTE” on the Promotions page. Sync your befriended Arceus over by knocking out one of your own Pokémon and sending it to the Pokémon Dream World and be the coolest kid in town!
