The Ataribox is Atari’s latest mysterious product.

With the console wars fresh on everyone’s mind and neither side seems to be close on claiming victory, an old champion has silently emerged from its deep slumber.

Recently, Atari posted a video for a ‘brand new Atari product‘ dubbed, the Ataribox. The video appears to show the hardware having a smooth wood-grain surface and a plastic top with a big, iconic Atari logo slapped to the surface. We believe this to be their newest console, although we are betting it could be a Nintendo Classic Mini-like type of machine that plays back classic Atari games.

Nothing is officially announced yet, but we look forward to seeing more of Ataribox in the near future and will keep you posted if any news of the it surfaces.
