Apple Unveils New 15" Macbook Pro With Retina Display

Of course, the “15-inch” part is now a misnomer, because so few 15-inch displays is capable of so high a resolution. The Retina Display MacBook is here.

The Retina Display MacBook boasts a 2880x1800px resolution the same battery life and similar features to the regular 15-inch MacBooks, the Retina Display MacBook is capable of holding up to 768GB of flash storage (with configured options) and has no SuperDrive. It is also thinner (1.8cm) and lighter (2.02kg) than the MacBook of the previous generation.

Ports include the USB 3 (with USB 2 backwards-compatibility) and Thunderbolt as well as a HDMI port and a SDXC card slot. It also comes packed and ready for Apple’s software boosted for the retina display.

The Retina Display MacBook, pending agency review, will retail from S$2988 to S$5118 with options maxed out.
