Xian Takes Street Fighting to Bangkok

Street Fighter enfant terrible Ho Kun Xian took home the gold at last weekend’s Thai-ger Uppercut tournament in Bangkok, Thailand.

The professional fighting game player, better known by his handle DM MCZ Xian, had flown down to the City of Smiles just to compete. Backing him up for the 3v3 tournament also taking place at the same time were his teammate Eng Ghim Kee (DM MCZ Gackt), and Jasper Chew.

The Singaporeans were three of only four foreign players at the Thai-organised tournament. Xian beat Dio-K, a Hakan player, and Kun Kuy, Thailand’s top Rufus player, on home ground to take back 5,000 baht and a Nintendo 3DS.

The team collectively took home 20,000 baht and a trophy for winning the 3v3 tournament.
