Sign up for ESL & Activision's Call of Duty tournament with a US$1m prize pot
The console shooter has never been widely celebrated in the Singapore market, but the Electronic Sports League doesn’t care. This year, hundreds of teams from South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong will be given their chance to compete and win at the Call of Duty: Black Ops II World Finals in Los Angeles. As if free travel and board aren’t enough, ESL and Activsion are also offering a US$1,000,000 prize pot.
Of course, you must first defeat your fellow Asian teams to stand a chance. Teams of four (all with registered ESL accounts and Xbox Live accounts) must sign up to take part in the national qualifiers first. Singapore’s are held online this weekend, Mar 16 2013, Saturday, while the Asia finals will conclude the following day. Only the top two teams will qualify for the World Championship.
