GameStart 2016 is a go! Convention returns in October

It’s like watching an empire grow. GameStart kicked things up a notch last year following the rousing success of 2014’s inaugural show. They secured a larger space, extended the convention by a day, and even scored exclusive goodies such as PlayStation VR demo sets – now those had one heck of a line!
We’re positively ecstatic to see GameStart returning for a third year, and while no further details were revealed you can bet a coin or two that we’ll be seeing some exciting developments. After all, the convention isn’t limited to just the latest in games and hardware; there are eSports tournaments, eye-opening indie showcases, an epic retro gaming corner, cosplay showcases, and more.
2015’s show wasn’t without its flaws, chief of which being the competing main stages, but the organizers have already showed their ability to improve: just compare the queue times between the first and second years.
If you’d like to keep up-to-date, provide some feedback, or simply revel in the news, go ahead and visit their official site and Facebook page.
Exhibitors ought to visit this page instead. Last year saw over 17,000 attendees from around the region, and besides, Singaporeans are shown to be really big spenders when it comes to gaming.
Don’t miss our coverage of GameStart 2015 either, where we mainly spent our time bugging indie developers to show us their goods. You know what we mean.
